A nice hotel at great location MG road for getting chill out with family. Being a 5 star property the rooms were big & great and were very beautiful.Rooms have everything which you need. The breakfast was awesome & they deliver to the room as well. We asked for some modification in our food which they happily carried out. They have own bar which is also very nice. The hotel is great for families outing & I would strongly recommend.

The entrance is quite narrow through a restaurant. However, all other 5-Star facilities are offered as should be. The best part of Park Hotel I have always enjoyed are the buffet spreads served in its various Restaurants & Banquet Halls. The food in general satisfies the needs of the Indian palate.

We had evening snacks there. The ambience was outstanding. We loved the food as well. For two people it'll cost around 3k-4k. Best time for visit is twilight.

A night club with rooms to stay as the beats of the club runs into your room till 4 in the morning giving you no sleep. I was offered different rooms and it was the same plight. The location is very good at the heart of the city. The staff tries to help and is polite although the design of the hotel is meant for partying, not rest. And yes, these annoying beats are not a weekend affair but everyday. Even the staff of the hotel came to the room and acknowledged the inconvenience to sleep. It's a pitty that the hotel prioritizes the party goers more than the guests staying in the hotel.

The Park has always been special for me and my wife. We grew up in Kolkata in our youth in the pop culture of Someplace Else and the heady strobe lights of Tantra back in the nostalgic nineties. The earliest memories of our courtship days has been at the vibrant Atrium. We have now emigrated to the UK since the last 22 years. A lot has changed since then, however every year since then, we have a ritual to come back for a night with our friends and relive the memories. This year, again, we went to Tantra and Roxy to relive a night of nostalgia and the magic never dies. However something made it special this time. We misplaced a bag of goodies we bought for our daughter back in the UK, but left is somewhere in The Park. As we were leaving the next day we were a bit sad about it assuming we may have lost it for good. Fortunately the staff of Roxy and the Park Housekeeping still carry on the golden standard of service we have known for years on end. We were reunited with our possession due to the exemplary service showed by the lovely staff. Another memory to treasure. Thanks for the good times.

The service was excellent! Front house, housekeeping, the bridge restaurant breakfast and the someplace else bar was fabulous. We really really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and accomodating with our requests. The rooms were little old but clean. The funny thing is front office staff says they have upgraded your rooms to "luxury rooms" to ALL the guests to make them feel better🤪

Hotel is at great location loved it. The room had so much of natural light. It was clean and well equipped. The switches for all lighting in the rooms are of the one touch type, which was good. Great room service and nicely maintained.

A very very bad experience. Firstly they do not have any facility for wheel chaired guests. One has to bodily lift the wheelchair with the guest to enter the dining arena. The washrooms are also not designed for the same. This was the first hotel / resort in India and abroad we experienced such drawbacks. Secondly there is no doctor on their payroll to attend an emergency call. They provided someone from outside who did not even examine the basics like BP as he had no equipments to do so. But charged ₹2000/- without any bill for consultation.

In the city of joy Kolkata, The Park Hotel is one of the most famous hotels for people. It is situated in Park Street area, 5 minutes walk from the Park Street metro station. The facility is located at one of the prime marketplaces of Kolkata. Everything is within reach. The room was decent. A little small I would say when compared to other hotels in the same category. Suited for business trips and trips with family.

The breakfast spread is good and Excellent. Staff are very forthcoming at the restaurant at breakfast.Room service and food is okayRooms are okay not great when compared to other star hotels.Night stay can be disturbing in some rooms due the music thumping sounds can be felt even in 2nd floor rooms.

Overhyped property due to its location. They command a premium price only due to Good English speaking staff at reception, location and the group name. There are other alternatives close by like Peerless which can be considered.Don’t try their overhyped club. It’s not worth it and you will end up spoiling your night.I would take someone here only if I have to show off.

I’ve been going to the Park for decades- since tantra opened. Their nightclubs are pretty good especially the ladies night in Roxy. However , their banquet service for a wedding reception was quite unprofessional in terms of the servers attitude. Once the event was coming to an end one of the waiters approached us asking whether we tipped and asked HOW MUCH. When my father said he paid a lump sum to be divided amongst them all , ALL the waiters just left the guests and went to count the money. This is really sub par pathetic service.

The hotel is a landmark. I've been visiting since the late 1990s and it's kept its character with staunch stoicism. The best part of the hotel is its location. We'll connected, walking distance from a lot of popular watering holes and eating joints. It has a certain nostalgic quality about it that adds to the experience. For me, kolkata is synonymous with the Park.

Great food and great ambience. Very satisfied with the service. My first day brunch experience and loved it. I will definitely come again. Especially the grilled and carving section had my heart.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean, staff very friendly, and the place has several restaurants/bars/clubs/live music, whatever entertainment you are looking for they had it. My only suggestion for improvement would be to not crank up the AC so much, it was extremely cold in many of the areas of the hotel including the lobby.

From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm welcome and a modern, chic atmosphere. The hotel has a great location, with many attractions and restaurants nearby. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff that go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms at The Park are spacious, well-appointed and elegantly designed. Each room is equipped with all the modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs, high-speed internet access, minibars, and tea/coffee makers. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are of high quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The rooms also have large windows that provide plenty of natural light and offer fantastic views of the city. The hotel has a range of dining options, from the signature restaurant, The Bridge, which serves delicious global cuisine, to Zen, an award-winning rooftop restaurant that offers a fusion of Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisine. There is also a lounge bar, Someplace Else, that serves a variety of co*cktails and snacks, as well as a poolside bar, Aqua, that offers refreshing drinks and light bites. All of the food is excellent, with a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes and dietary restrictions. The Park also boasts an impressive range of facilities, including a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center, a spa, and a business center. The rooftop pool is particularly impressive, offering stunning views of the city skyline. The fitness center is well-equipped, with modern machines and free weights, and the spa offers a range of treatments to help you relax and rejuvenate. The hotel's location is also a major advantage. It is situated in the heart of the city, close to many popular attractions, including the Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Indian Museum. It is also within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops, making it the perfect base for exploring Kolkata.

The standards have dropped drastically and you are basically paying for the location .It’s a shame as park used to be a highlight of my stay in Kolkata but it is pretty evident that the staff no longer goes through any training . Here are few things I experienced during my stay .1) During breakfast multiple times the wrong order being brought to me . If it happened once it is ok but this was almost a daily occurrence .2) I had to call up housekeeping thrice within an hour and half requesting another blanket . After my second call they sent me a plate and cup instead of a blanket ( you can’t make this up ). The blanket came in after around 90 minutes .3) I ordered for a tea at around 7 pm which was delivered promptly no issues there . Then at 11.30 at night a staff knocked on my door wanting to clear the table . I was woken up so that the staff could take back a tea cup.4) It is very clear that the younger staff is not trained . You can notice it with the way they interact with guests . Some look like they have not bothered to iron their shirts in days ( it’s the hospitality industry) , others , especially at the cafeteria are busy chatting with each other .I will definitely not book the place again . I’m a pretty easy going traveller but for the price paid the service is abysmal .
